# Using the ReVanced Manager and installing ReVanced
# Setting Up
## Requirements
* Android 8+
* Does not work on some armv7 devices
## Installation
* Download Manager from [here](https://github.com/revanced/revanced-manager/releases)
* See supported versions for the app you want to patch from [here](https://github.com/revanced/revanced-patches#readme)
Next, you'd want to download the APK file for the app you want to patch, we will use [APKMirror](https://www.apkmirror.com/uploads/?appcategory=youtube) for this guide. NEVER download any bundled APKs, download the full APK instead

If you have previously used ReVanced with a different signing key, uninstall it first if you intend to use it without root.
* Open ReVanced Manager & Click on Patcher

* Tap on Select Application

* Tap on Storage [to select APK from local storage]

* Select the APK from storage

* Tap on Select patches [to select the patches]

* Select patches you want & tap on Done
Must Select microg-support if you want to use YouTube ReVanced without root.

* Tap Patch button [It'll start patching immediately]

* Applying all selected patches & repacking the app will take some time. Wait until it finishes the process.

* After Finished the full process, Tap on Install Button to Install the patched app.

* Google Play Protect may block installation. If it shows a warning, just tap Install Anyway

Follow Same Process for all apps supported by ReVanced [YouTube, Youtube Music, Twitter, TikTok, Reddit, Spotify, Warn app]
* For YouTube & YouTube Music non-root version, you must need to install [Vanced microG](https://github.com/TeamVanced/VancedMicroG/releases)
