db7f198a19 -use QStringLiteral and QLatin1String in the code that is executed multiple times (avoids utf8->utf16 conversions) 
-use splitRef when converting parts of qstring to ints to avoid redundant memory allocations
-warnings--: remove redundant ';'

404ed07fb0 Revert "Raise the QML imports version to 2.1" 
This reverts commit fa2109ccb6.

Turns out the plan to raise the version with every framework
release is not as simple as raising the version numbers as
this breaks pretty much everything.

ce5d182510 Make Application component async

sense to make it block.

556c1e321a Remove random qDebug output 
Makes it easier to spot the actual problems on the output. If there's
something that's actually indicating a problem, we should make it a
qWarning.
