All those signals work, I'm not quite sure what the eventFilter is used
for, the Item seems to work just fine without it. I've left it disabled
for now, maybe we can kill this code?

All cpp code moves into the src/ subdirectory, as the Frameworks policy
suggests.
Directory structure should now be in line with other, future frameworks.
