Norman Maurer ccd5a6e411 Add workaround for current kernel bug related to WRITEV and IOSEQ_ASYNC
Motivation:

There is currently a bug in the kernel that let WRITEV sometimes fail
when IOSEQ_ASYNC is enabled

Modifications:

Don't use IOSEQ_ASYNC for WRITEV for now

Result:

Tests pass

Netty io_uring

The new io_uring interface added to the Linux Kernel 5.1 is a high I/O performance scalable interface for fully asynchronous Linux syscalls

Requirements:

  • x86-64 processor
  • at least 5.8.2+
  • to run the tests, you have to increase memlock(default 64K)
