Summary:
This disables Linux/amd64 builds in Travis for PRs, and adds a
gcc-10+c++20 build in CircleCI, which should fill out sufficient coverage
vs. what we had in Travis
Fixed a use of std::is_pod, which is deprecated in c++20
Fixed ++ on a volatile in db_repl_stress.cc, with bigger refactoring.
Although ++ on this volatile was probably ok with one thread writer and
one thread reader, the code was still overly complex. There was a
deadcode check for error
`if (replThread.no_read < dataPump.no_records)` which can be proven
never to happen based on the structure of the code. It infinite loops
instead for the case intended to be checked. I just simplified the code
for what should be the same checking power.
Also most configurations seem to be using make parallelism = 2 * vcores,
so fixing / using that.

Summary:
Cleans up some of the dependencies on test code in the Makefile while building tools:
- Moves the test::RandomString, DBBaseTest::RandomString into Random
- Moves the test::RandomHumanReadableString into Random
- Moves the DestroyDir method into file_utils
- Moves the SetupSyncPointsToMockDirectIO into sync_point.
- Moves the FaultInjection Env and FS classes under env
These changes allow all of the tools to build without dependencies on test_util, thereby simplifying the build dependencies. By moving the FaultInjection code, the dependency in db_stress on different libraries for debug vs release was eliminated.
Tested both release and debug builds via Make and CMake for both static and shared libraries.
More work remains to clean up how the tools are built and remove some unnecessary dependencies. There is also more work that should be done to get the Makefile and CMake to align in their builds -- what is in the libraries and the sizes of the executables are different.

Summary:
I started adding gflags support for cmake on linux and got frustrated that I'd need to duplicate the build_detect_platform logic, which determines namespace based on attempting compilation. We can do it differently -- use the GFLAGS_NAMESPACE macro if available, and if not, that indicates it's an old gflags version without configurable namespace so we can simply hardcode "google".

Summary: RocksDB already depends on C++11, so we might as well all the goodness that C++11 provides. This means that we don't need AtomicPointer anymore. The less things in port/, the easier it will be to port to other platforms.

Summary:
Newer gflags switched from `google` namespace to `gflags` namespace. See: https://github.com/facebook/rocksdb/issues/139 and https://github.com/facebook/rocksdb/issues/102
Unfortunately, they don't define any macro with their namespace, so we need to actually try to compile gflags with two different namespace to figure out which one is the correct one.
Test Plan: works in fbcode environemnt. I'll also try in ubutnu with newer gflags

Summary:
It looks like we might have some trouble when building the new release with 4.8, since fbcode is using glibc2.17-fb by default and we are using glibc2.17. It was reported by Benjamin Renard in our internal group.
This diff moves our fbcode build to use glibc2.17-fb by default. I got some linker errors when compiling, complaining that `google::SetUsageMessage()` was undefined. After deleting all offending lines, the compile was successful and everything works.

Store the last flushed, seq no. in db_impl. Check against it in
transaction Log iterator. Do not attempt to read ahead if we do not know
if the data is flushed completely.
Does not work if flush is disabled. Any ideas on fixing that?

Previously, if you opened a db with num_levels set lower than
the database, you received the unhelpful message "Corruption:
VersionEdit: new-file entry." Now you get a more verbose message
describing the issue.
Also, fix handling of compression_levels (both the run-over-the-end
issue and the memory management of it).
Lastly, unique_ptr'ify a couple of minor calls.
