eglCreateStreamKHR() can fail and return EGL_NO_STREAM_KHR, in which case there is no point in trying to create a buffer from it. Similarly, eglCreateStreamProducerSurfaceKHR() also fail and return EGL_NO_SURFACE, which in turn will be used in eglMakeCurrent() as draw/read surface, and therefore would mean no draw/read buffer. In those cases, log the error, and bail out early. That won't solve the issue but will help with investigating the root cause of issues with EGLStream backend. X Server
The X server accepts requests from client applications to create windows, which are (normally rectangular) "virtual screens" that the client program can draw into.
Windows are then composed on the actual screen by the X server (or by a separate composite manager) as directed by the window manager, which usually communicates with the user via graphical controls such as buttons and draggable titlebars and borders.
