# Method: contacts.getContacts

Get all contacts

### Parameters:
| Name | Type | Required | Description |
|----------|---------------|----------|-------------|
|hash|[int](../types/int.md) | Yes|$ids is the list ids of previously fetched contacts, `$hash = $MadelineProto->gen_vector_hash($ids);`|
### Return type: [contacts\_Contacts](../types/contacts_Contacts.md)
### Can bots use this method: **NO**
### MadelineProto Example:
```
if (!file_exists('madeline.php')) {
copy('https://phar.madelineproto.xyz/madeline.php', 'madeline.php');
}
include 'madeline.php';
$MadelineProto = new \danog\MadelineProto\API('session.madeline');
$MadelineProto->start();
$contacts_Contacts = $MadelineProto->contacts->getContacts(['hash' => int, ]);
```
