Method: messages.getHistory
Get previous messages of a group
Parameters:

peer | Username, chat ID, Update, Message or InputPeer | Optional | The chat |
offset_id | CLICK ME int | Yes | The last fetched message ID, initially 0 |
offset_date | CLICK ME int | Yes | The date of the last previously fetched message, initially 0 |
add_offset | CLICK ME int | Yes | Additional offset, can be 0 |
limit | CLICK ME int | Yes | Number of messages to fetch |
max_id | CLICK ME int | Yes | Maximum message ID to fetch |
min_id | CLICK ME int | Yes | Minumum message ID to fetch |
Return type: messages_Messages
Can bots use this method: NO
Errors this method can return:
Error | Description |
---|---|
CHANNEL_INVALID | The provided channel is invalid |
CHANNEL_PRIVATE | You haven't joined this channel/supergroup |
CHAT_ID_INVALID | The provided chat id is invalid |
PEER_ID_INVALID | The provided peer id is invalid |
AUTH_KEY_PERM_EMPTY | The temporary auth key must be binded to the permanent auth key to use these methods. |
Timeout | A timeout occurred while fetching data from the bot |
